Sometimes working out can seem like a burden , especially when your new to it or if you don't exactly love the workouts or type of exercises you are doing. I've come up with 10 WAYS TO WORKOUT that you can do at home, at the gym, alone or with a friend. There are way more than 10, if anything there are hundreds, but i've put together a small list that can hopefully help you get closer to your health goals.

1. BOXING
Boxing is a great way to burn fat... It's effective, fun and not to mention motivating because you will need a partner up with a friend or family member. There are many exercises you can do during a circuit and it is a really effective way to tone and shape your arms. Boxing can burn hundreds of calories in a short duration and it is a great way to release stress. So pump up the music, grab your workout buddy and punch the stress away!

2. DANCING
Dancing is one of my favourite ways to workout! Partly because I love to dance but more importantly because you can do it anywhere...at any time, literally. Please tell me that dancing in your room isn't the best thing ever?! It works out your entire body, you sweat like crazy, you burn so many calories, and it doesn't even feel like you're working out! So play your favourite song and dance the night away gurrrlfriend!

3. CLASSES
If you visit a gym and they run classes there I HIGHLY recommend you try some until you find the one or ones that you love the most. Classes are a great way to workout especially on the days you are feeling a little unmotivated and if you go to the gym in that mood, you're very unlikely to work out to your best potential. Although if you join a class; the music, plus the instructor, plus the rest of the members will get you in the right mindset and before you know it you're more motivated than ever!!!

4. LIGHT WEIGHTS
So many girls think that weights make you too muscly or too manly, but the truth is, when completed correctly, it actually can help make you leaner! THAT'S RIGHT, YOU READ IT CORRECTLY. For weight loss, I highly recommend you do 3 full body weight sessions per week, every two days. This allows your body to get a minimum of 48 hours rest in between in each session so your muscles can recover and also helps boost your metabolism like fireeee!

5. BODY WEIGHT
You have no idea how powerful, amazing and effective your body is! No words will describe how much your body can change and shape up using nothing but your own body weight! There are so many exercises you can do, and the most beautiful thing of it all is that you can do them ANYWHERE and ANYTIME, literally...Because all you need is YOU! ( and an exercise matt or towel of course ). If you can get your body into a really good body weight routine, alongside a healthy food plan, I can guarantee your body will change like crazy and it will be the best thing you ever do because it means you can workout in between work, study, on holiday, before your shower......literally ANYWHERE! (Thankkkk me later)

6.TAKE THE STAIRS
So many people think in order to work out hard you need the latest equipment when in actual fact you have everything you need right in front of you. Take the stairs for example, plug in your iPod, play your favourite music, run up and down these babies and I can guarantee you by the end of the first song you‘ll be feeling it. Customise your workout to suit your fitness level, so if you’re advanced every time you hit the bottom of the stairs you can do different Compound exercises to maximise your workout!

7. GO FOR A WALK
Going for a walk is probably the most simple way to workout and plus the fresh air is really good for your health and wellbeing! It is perfect for all different fitness levels and you can maximise your workouts by choosing routes that have more hills for higher inclined workouts that will make those legs burn baby! Hold a pair of light dumbells and punch the air to also work out your arms and once walking becomes too easy for you, you can throw in a jog/run every couple of minutes to push your limits.

8. JUMP ROPE
Jump rope is one of the best ways to workout! Not only is it cost effective, it's a great way to burn calories, boost your metabolism, lose weight, tone your arms, and increase your fitness levels (ten fold). You can find them most places, you can use them anywhere and it's easy to carry around with you because they are so light, They will fit right in your duffel bag and you won't even realise they're there. So, pop in your headphones and get sweating babe.

9. CLEANING
Want to workout but have so much housework to do? Did you ever think about working out while you clean? Cleaning is an amazing way to work out, you literally use your whole body, gotta bend down for tough corners, gotta wipe them high cupboards, and mop the floor. It's a win win situation, you get to get the housework done and also burn some mean calories. Side note: You will also be amazed at how much more fun cleaning can be when you have the music pumping. One minute you're sweeping the floor the next you're singing with a microphone....Beyonce, that's why.

10. HIRE A PERSONAL TRAINER
Personal training is a great way to reach your health and fitness goals especially if you're looking for that extra push. It's a personal experience, where the trainer will work closely with you to customise your workout to make sure it is exactly what you need to reach your particular fitness goals. It is an experience like no other and you get to build a beautiful friendship alongside the workouts which means your PT will be invested in your wellbeing at all times. PS. I am a personal trainer. PPS. If you're from Sydney you should hire me. PPPS. you don't have to but PPPPS. You know you want to :) ! Just kidding!
